Lecture Notes
I always make sure my Writing notes are understandable since I found it hard to memorize certain things especially when it comes to the basics of writing. Though it might seem easy, it was much more complicated than how it looks. I need to refer to my notes regularly in order to get used to the structure of an essay and how to write some excellent sentences without struggling too much.
Miss Farah usually gives us some exercises right after we finished the Google Meet sessions. The exercises that Miss Farah provided were all really helpful. I was really interested to have in-depth learning in Writing especially because the lecturer was really motivational and fun to learn with. Miss Farah never gets tired of correcting our mistakes. Though it seemed like we made a lot of careless mistakes, she never complains but instead, she motivated us to keep improving.

Midterm Test

Writing's midterm test was one of the scariest tests to take. I was really anxious about not remembering how to cite the original authors and how to synthesize correctly. I've done a lot of practices that Miss Farah provided. My classmates and I studied together at the library and discussed the synthesis practices one by one. We managed to figure out how to relate the main points of each article to one another.
Personally, I would say that I did well enough since this is my first time seeing such formats of examination. I wasn't disappointed with myself when I found out my marks were 13.6 over 20%. To me, it wasn't that bad. However, I would love to keep improving my synthesizing skills to have better grades in the future.

Opinion-based Essay
The opinion-based Essay was quite interesting since we needed to conduct our own survey and promote it through social media in order to get different opinions regarding the topic that we chose. I chose a topic under Corporal Punishment which was the Consequences of Practicing Corporal Punishment at Home. I managed to gather 29 respondents within 24 hours but Miss Farah said we only required a maximum of 15 respondents. Therefore, I went through all of my respondents' answers and chose the most captivating ones. Once I've gone through the answers one by one, I needed to summarize the answers to come up with 3 main ideas to be in the body paragraphs. I started to make the essay's outline to ease my process of writing an actual essay. Miss Farah made a lot of sessions for the outline consultation. She started the consultations around 9 p.m. and ended them around 1 a.m. which was really impressive for the fact that she was very dedicated to her job. Even though that exceeded her working time, she still wanted to spend her time correcting our mistakes so that we could get good marks. I was really grateful that my outline got approved.
Last Class

For the last class, we were required to complete a process analysis essay by groups. Each group needed to submit 3 body paragraphs regarding the topics that Miss Farah gave. She wanted to see if we could differentiate between micro and macro body paragraphs. She managed to consult every groups' answer even though she exceeded the time period. I'm fine with it especially because she also dedicates her extra time to consult our outlines for the opinion-based essay. She worked until midnight to make sure her students made a good job with the outlines. She is very generous and inspirational. She always motivates us to think positive and to keep going no matter what. To show our appreciation, we filled in the outline template that she once provided, with our own topic which is "The Reasons Why We Love Miss Farah". We wrote the reasons why she is such a lovable person. She looked really happy even though she did mention that she isn't the type of woman who gets emotional easily but we could see by her reaction that she appreciated our efforts. Thank you, miss!
Even though we were being emotional and sentimental about the special outline we made for her, Miss Farah still decided to correct our grammar mistakes. Look at how dedicated she is to her job. That was one of the funniest moment ever.
